Where should I shop from? A penny pincher's guide
Hey guys!
2. AJIO
I'm back with my blog as promised in my previous post and this time, with something on very high demand. Now who doesn't want a cool collection of dresses, footwear, make up and jewellery? But wouldn't it be great if that comes in an affordable price range too? I couldn't decide if I should post an offline nearby stores version of it too, so if you want me to write a blog on that, just let me know in the comments section. Also, if you want me to review any of these sites in particular, just mention it there too. I'd be glad to come up with something more helpful.
I'll start with jewellery and make up because that is exactly what most of us do not find in the price range we want it to be and end up bargaining. But alas! online stores do not provide us with that option.
JEWELLERY :
Now, this is a website I'm used to buying jewellery from. I've got 4-5 necklaces with maang tikka and earrings set worth Rs. 149 from Jewelmaze. It's a super affordable site when it comes to traditional and heavy jewellery, especially when buying jewellery combo packs.
Their bridal jewellery collection starts from Rs. 299 and you can easily get the combos with rings and anklets under Rs. 500.
It's waist bands (kamarbandhs) are really gorgeous and suitable for all occassions. If you're looking for jewellery in bulk or bangles that are traditional and designer, this is the go to site.
Moreover, Jewelmaze almost always has a sale and offers displayed for you to choose the best ones from.

2. FLIPKART.COM
I've literally fallen in love with the maang tikka & earring sets they sell. Those are really gorgeous, especially when you're looking for something not so heavy or traditional. One of my favorites is a brass jewel maang tikka set worth Rs. 195 from Urbanela. The site also has super cool floral jewellery, perfect for the ceremonies of an Indian wedding, pretty yet low cost chokers and affordable boho necklaces. I found it the best place for a modern girl trying traditional jewellery, without overdoing with the latter part.

MAKE UP :
1. ELLE 18
Elle 18 is possibly the most known and the best brand for affordable makeup in India. It's a cosmetic brand under Unilever, which also owns brands like Lakme and Pond's, so one can be assured of its quality. I bought one of the Elle 18 color pops matte lipstick for Rs. 75 and a nail polish for Rs. 50 at Nykaa and both worked fine.
2. COLORESSENCE
Coloressence offers quality at a really affordable price range. You can get lipsticks and kohl under Rs. 200 and even foundation under Rs. 300 from this site. The Coloressence HD foundation stick costs only Rs. 225 and is definitely a steal!

3. LOTUS
Lotus Herbals is a well known Indian brand producing skin care, hair care and face care products since 1993. Initially, it produced only for export but now this super affordable brand has a strong market base in India as well. Its products are safe and can be trusted.
4. MUA
MUA offers 100% cruelty free products with many of those being vegan friendly at a reasonable price. Even its foundation costs just 5 Pounds. For those who love shimmery, glittery and a tinge of pop make up, this is the right place for you.
CLOTHING :
1. FASHCHIC
This is an Instagram seller account @fashchic_15 where you can get amazing fashion outfits at unbeatable rates. They are a trusted seller and you can easily check customer reviews and place orders. I randomly found this page while scrolling down my Instagram feed once and since then, I'm in love with their collection (especially the prices). From sequin tops to dresses and stylish co-ords, they have it all and it's definitely a page to check out!
2. BEWAKOOF.COM
I myself am a regular shopper at this Indian website and it sells cool Desi Apparel along with what's trendy. The A-line dresses are to die for and I've got atleast 5 for myself. My sister and some of my friends got influenced and bought some too, wish I had a twinning picture of ours to upload here.
BAGS :
All the options I've mentioned for bags have an awesome collection if you're looking for something that's budget friendly, best part being, even under INR 500.
1. FLIPKART
I know I'm mentioning this site again but since it's an online retail store for products under mutiple domains, it was destined to happen. I am posting some images from all three stores as examples.

2. AJIO
I'll be very honest on the fact that I've never shopped from Ajio but only researched the products and reviews on the internet for this blog post, which actually turned out to be positive. They have a nice collection of bags at a low cost.

3. PEAHEN
It might seem that I'm promoting this brand but once you check out the denim bags collection they've got, you'll find this blog worthy. Peahen is a brand registered by non profit organisation and the bags they sell are made by rural women in Rajasthan. They sell only 4-5 designs of bags currently and are about to start an Instagram page too, with traditional quilling and thread earrings, the tassels we all love, cute keychains and of course, the denim bags. The round ones (worth Rs. 300) are my personal favorite, followed by the frilled bag.
