Introducing You To BLUR Cosmetics..
In today's blog I'm gonna introduce you all to a makeup brand not many are very familiar with. It's quite affordable and is called Blur. Some of you might even have bought its products without realizing as it used to sell on sites like Flipkart and Amazon.
As of now, Blur has its own website and an Instagram business page with the username blurindia. It promotes the blurring of lines between makeup and self love via its tagline. You'll know what I mean once you hear the product names it sells. Since its website currently has only 5 products, all with good reviews, it would be quite easy for me to give details on all of those rather than giving a brief of the brand.
But first, you might be wondering, why is Prachi doing this? And as a reply to this, I thought I'd try something in a way not many bloggers do, like my previous blog post. Only this time I'd be introducing some brands which are good but not much known; underrated, you may say. If you have any more suggestions or if you feel there are more things I can or I should come up with, do let me know in the comments section.
Let's start with the cool and flirty product names of which I was talking about:
- BLURstick | Control Your Boyfriend - Rs.599
- BLURstick | I'm Sorry, Are You Vodka? - Rs.599
- BLURstick | Put Me On Your Lips.. Not You're Lying Ex - Rs.599
- I Give Up On Cat Eyes | Eyeliner - Rs.599
- Darker Than My Ex's Soul | Kajal - Rs.499
But what I found better than these names was the really cute packaging that they send those products in. If you can't think of what to deliver your best friend or your sister living in another city on her birthday as a surprise without giving extra packaging details, you'd be really happy to have this as your savior.
A sweet text "You've been expecting me, beautiful" is written on the brown box carrying your dose of daily happiness. Not just this, it also sends you a message to make you smile along with the products securely packed in white packaging.
The lipstick shades are perfect! The most loved and positively reviewed being the nude one- Control your boyfriend ;) The BLURsticks claim to be buildable, highly moisturizing, velvet matte, highly pigmented and easy on the lips with a strong color payoff.
Those who read my blogs know that a lot of background research work and honest reviews whether from me or those I know and trust are considered before I justify claims or provide suggestions in the favor of any brand. And what I have inferred from Blur is that the lipsticks really are moisturizing and would stay unless you're into the habit of licking those off (believe me, many women do that!)
And the best part being, these suit all skin tones! So no more searching for your perfect shade :)
The eyeliner comes as a liquid with a really thin brush and hence is super easy to use. You wouldn't find yourself facing much trouble with it. It claims to be long lasting and water- proof with a smooth finish.
But before you use it, let me inform you that though long lasting, it's a little glossy. I like glossy so its something I call my type. If glossy is your type too, you should surely go for it and believe me, you'll love it. What's more? They're currently giving it free with BLURsticks as a promotional offer.
The BLUR kajal comes as a thick stick, more of a lipstick appearance and is glossy. It claims to be moisturizing, non- smudge and easy on the eyes. I'm not so sure if this would be easy to apply because of its thick stick but I'll surely give a detailed review on this in one of my upcoming blogs. I don't usually buy many kajal sticks, but because I like other products from this brand, I'll probably give it a try once it comes in stock again.
Lastly, they're giving 10% of your orders to COVID19 Relief Funds which could make someone's life. So you'd technically be shopping for a cause and doing something great by the comfort of your homes!
